What is IconCool Mixer
IconCool Mixer is a new tool built in IconCool Studio Pro, it provides beginners with convenient and powerful functions. It enables the creation of professional icons with ease. IconCool Mixer provides you with an image layer mode to create and edit icons that is similar to Adobe Photoshop.

Here are many elements created by our designers, you are able to operate at ease base on these elements, including size changes, rotation, movement, color changes, adding of gradients, and so on. The more surprising are you can also add some effects we provided for these elements, such as Outer shadow, Inner shadow, Stroke, Emboss, etc. You can save the effects set for one design for the application of future designs.

There are also many preset effects for you to choose from that will enable you to create stunning icons in a matter of minutes. Meanwhile, you can also make a transparent PNG in IconCool Studio or other graphics software and then import them into IconCool Mixer as an element for use.

ToolBar
New
Clear the image in current canvas and create a new project.
Open
Open an existed project file (*.MXP) in IconCool Mixer.
Save
Save the content in current canvas to a project file (*.MXP). Meanwhile, IconCool Mixer will create a *.MXC data file in the folder you selected automatically. Please don’t delete the file, and you should keep *.MXC file into the same directory as the .MXP file you open next time.
Transfer current
image to IconCool
Studio
Transfer the image in active area of canvas which is 256x256 pixels (white area) to IconCool Studio 5 for editing.
Undo
Undo the change.
Redo
Redo the change.
Exit
Exit IconCool Mixer.
Help
Open IconCool Mixer help center.
Element Folder
Add new folder
Create an element folder so as to manage your element resources.
Delete current folder
Delete the selected element folder.
Rename current folder
Rename the selected element folder.
Element List
Load element file
Load element resource file *.CSC and add the element included into current list.
Add selected element
Add selected element to canvas.
Delete selected element
Delete selected element.
Create element
Create an IconCool Mixer element file(*.CSC) from some local PNG files, and then load them into IconCool Mixer element list or save as element file to seleted folder.
Navigation Panel
Other than the tool in the toolbar, there are also the following functions in the Navigation Panel:
Preview
Open the preview window for current image and preview the actual effect of the image in active area of canvas (white area).
Create element
You can transfer some PNG files from your local disk into IconCool Mixer element file. The *.CSC file just can be opened with IconCool Mixer presently.
Append
Append an existed project into the current canvas.
Save as
Save the project as different name to your local disk.
Other buttons
Please follow the same functions in Toolbar.
Color Mixer
Fill type
IconCool Mixer includes two fill types, solid and gradient. After clicking solid, it allows you to change the selected element into solid. Vice versa, it also allows you to change the selected element into gradient after clicking gradient.
Solid
Current color
Click and open the color palette, double-click the color for selecting. Click to adjust color transparency. Click to close color palette and cancel color selection. Meanwhile, you can also enter HTML Code and clik "Enter" to fix the color you need.
RGB color adjustment
Enter RGB value to adjust color.
Select value between current color and transparent color
Select value between current color and white color
Color Palette
Click color palette to change current color.
Change the current color into black/white
Click the button to change current color into black/white.
Type
Click the drop-down menu to select a gradient type, including Vertical Gradient, Horizontal Gradient, Diamond Gradient, Radial Gradient types.
Reverse
Reverse the current gradient.
Gradient preview
Show current gradient. Click this box to apply the current gradient into the property of the selected element.
Color A/Color B
Open color palette to change Color A/Color B. Click to change the opacity.
Effects Panel
Outer shadow
Open the effects panel to set an Outer shadow effect for the selected element, you can change color, opacity, angle, distance, size. Click the "Apply" button and it will be in effect.
Inner shadow
Open the effects panel to set an Inner shadow effect for the selected element, you can change color, opacity, angle, distance, size. Click the "Apply" button and it will be in effect.
Stroke
Open the effects panel to set a stroke effect, you can change color, opacity, size.
Emboss
Open the effects panel to set an embossed effect for the selected element, you can change Size, Soften, Depth, Angle, Light Color, Light opacity, Dim Color, Dim Opacity.
Effects List
Apply
Select an effect from Effects list, click Apply button to apply the effect to selected element.
New effect
Create an effect and add into the Effects list.
Clear effect
Clear the effect applied in the element.
Delete effect
Delete selected effect.
Adjust Panel
Move
Move the selected element up/down/left/right one pixel.
Center
Center the selected element on canvas horizontally/vertically.
Flip
Flip the selected element on canvas horizontally/vertically.
Rotate
Rotate the selected element 90 left.
Rotate the selected element 90 right.
Rotate the selected element 180 left.
Unselect
Unselect the element on the canvas.
Adjust layer opacity
Adjust the opacity of layer selected.
Set as the background
Setting
Open the background setting panel to set the background color and picture for the canvas.
Clear
Clear the background settings to restore transparency.
Layer List
Move up
Move up the selected layer.
Move down
Move down the selected layer.
Move to top
Move the selected layer to the top.
Move to bottom
Move the selected layer to the bottom.
Delete
Delete current layer.
Copy current layer
Double the selected layer.
Hide
Show or hide the element on the canvas.
Association
After associating the elements in current canvas, you can use Move and Center functions in adjust panel for all associated elements.
